ECC pursues a differentiated private equity style investment approach focused on proactively sourcing investment opportunities in CLO equity, seeking to take a significant stake and to influence the key terms and conditions

The objective of our investment process is to source, evaluate and execute investments in CLO securities that we believe have the potential to outperform the CLO market generally. We believe our process is more akin to a private equity style investment approach than to the typical process used by many investors in freely tradable fixed income-type securities, such as CLO equity and debt. We believe that our emphasis on assessing the skill of the CLO collateral manager and analyzing the structure of the CLO further differentiates our approach to investing in CLO securities.
